Is it just me or is the rash of these self congratulatory "reality" based tv shows utterly preposterous and nauseating. All the tension is manufactured hyperbolic nonsense, as if the three corpulent, obnoxious, self flagellating food critics would all suffer simultaneous aneurysms if the poor bastard slaving away preparing the gruel was 20 seconds over some ludicrous "deadline", if only!
